Lighters: hazardous goods fee

Lighters count as hazardous goods in shipping and have to be declared and packed separately. That is why orders containing a lighter carry a flat fee of €4.90. This fee is charged in addition to the shipping costs above.

Short routes instead of big promises

Our filters are produced in Austria. That saves the long transport routes that come with imported goods, and it is the biggest lever we actually control. For shipping we use the climate protection programmes of Austrian Post and DHL, through which part of the transport emissions is offset. We deliberately do not call our shipping climate neutral because offsetting is not the same as avoiding.

1. All prices shown include statutory VAT, excluding shipping costs.
2. The delivery times stated are estimates. For prepayment they start on the day after the payment order is issued, for all other payment methods on the day after the contract is concluded.
3. We deliver to addresses in the countries listed above. The destinations currently available are shown at checkout.
4. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT and handling fees may apply and are borne by the customer.
5. If an item in your order is not immediately available, we will get in touch. Partial deliveries are free of charge for you.

FAQ – shipping & delivery

How quickly are my activated carbon filters delivered after purchase?

Orders received on business days before the shipping cut-off are sent within 24 hours. Delivery takes an estimated 1–4 business days to Austria, Germany and Czechia, and 1–5 business days to other EU countries.

What does shipping cost?

€4.90 to Austria, €6.90 to Germany, €8.90 to Czechia and €12.90 to other EU countries. Free shipping from €29 order value to Austria, from €40 to Germany and Czechia and from €99 to other EU countries.

Why does shipping cost more when a lighter is included?

Lighters are hazardous goods and have to be declared and packed separately. For this we charge a flat fee of €4.90 on top of the normal shipping costs. It is waived from €40 order value to Austria, Germany and Czechia, and from €99 to other EU countries.

Are the filters shipped in discreet packaging?

Yes. All orders are shipped in neutral boxes without a Hybrid logo – only your name and address appear on the outside. The sender is TUX Smoking GmbH, Herbststraße 53/28, 1160 Vienna, Austria.

Which carriers do you ship with?

We ship with Austrian Post and DHL – the right carrier is selected automatically depending on the destination country.
